As a company, we take pride in teaching one-on-one baby swimming lessons to babies between the ages of 3 weeks and 36 months old. Our curriculum is designed with a mother's love and focuses on nurturing and developing each baby's unique abilities and strengths. Our lessons start out in the bathtub, where we introduce babies to the water in a safe and comfortable environment, and then progress to the pool.
At watermellow, we believe that parents and caregivers play a vital role in nurturing their baby's love for the water. That's why our instructors not only teach babies but also teach parents and caregivers how to teach their baby. We believe that by involving parents and caregivers in the learning process, babies can develop a stronger connection with the water. Our lessons not only focus on teaching babies how to swim but also providing knowledge to parents and caregivers that will be useful for years to come in their baby's swimming adventures.
Our story began with a young mom named Kaylee Kennedy, who taught her two children to swim and developed watermellow's renowned method for teaching babies to swim in the pool. In March of 2020, the pandemic forced the closure of K&K Swim School's facilities, halting her swimmer's progress in the water. Her passion and experience inspired us to create a curriculum that focuses on nurturing and developing each baby's unique abilities and strengths.
We believe that swimming is not just a physical activity, but a way to build connection and experience the world around us. Our highly trained and experienced instructors work with you and your baby to build confidence and a love for the water, which is an essential life skill.
